The Newcastle Visitor Information Centre (VIC) is a contemporary and innovative space proudly dedicated to all things Newcastle, in the former Civic Railway Station Building.
Located in the heart of the cultural precinct of Newcastle, the Newcastle VIC is adjacent to the Civic Station light rail stop and is easy walking distance from Newcastle Museum, the Art Gallery and Civic Theatre.
Visit the Centre for friendly and professional advice on how to experience the best the city has to offer. The welcoming staff share all their insider tips for exploring the city and uncovering it's hidden gems. Browse the display of map, brochures, other regional guides and Newcastle souvenirs.
Passionately supportive of all things local, the Newcastle Visitor Information Centre stocks a wide range of products made by Newcastle makers and traders. From local honey and hot sauce, to ceramics, artist works and books, soaps, tea towels and much more.
Free WiFi is available. There are four 15 minute parking bays with entry to these off Civic Lane.
