Oak Park is the perfect spot for a picnic. It is located on Cronulla Esplanade between Bass and Flinders Point to the South and Shelley Park to the North. The ocean pool looks across the mouth of the Hacking River over to Jibbon and the Royal National Park. This ocean pool is not patrolled by lifeguards. Oak Park features two undercover barbecues and covered picnic tables with a large grassy area making it the perfect place for families. to spend time. Oak Park is smaller than Shelly beach and is likely to be less crowded. The park slopes gently towards the ocean with great views and summer's sea breeze.
