Oberon Tarana Heritage Railway Inc (OTHR) operates a new tourist train experience in Oberon NSW.
Oberon, a true country town, is located in New South Wales Central Tablelands, approximately 180Kms from Sydney NSW, an easy 2 1/2hrs travel from Australia's largest city.
The town experiences four distinct seasons with the occasional snowfall in Winter.
This is a soon to be opened attraction offering an experience in a railway heritage precinct, riding on a heritage 5.6Km railway track to Hazelgrove, NSW in 1897 heritage carriages drawn by historic diesel locomotives.
OTHR will be offering train experiences of all types, including Murder Mysteries, Stranded trips, High Teas, High End Dinners, simple Devonshire Teas and Musical Events all in an ambience of slow train travel of yesteryear and old fashioned service.
