Located among mature gum trees, the 2,000-square-metre fully fenced Oddies Creek Adventure Playspace caters for children of all abilities. The main five-metre-high timber structure has wheelchair-accessible ramps with a wide range of activities that lead to a high point with views of the surrounding parkland. The 30-metre long flying fox is a popular activity as well as the giant multi-directional bird nest swing, supa nova, complex climbing net and a number of swings. There are two timber structures, one of which offers wheelchair-accessible ramps with a range of activities. The other structure caters for younger children and includes slides, climbers, rockers and a sand area. There is plenty of seating located through the site to allow parents and carers to actively supervise their children and share their experiences. Pack a picnic, bring a rug and have some fun. (Due to the Australia Park redevelopment, access to Oddies Creek Play Space is available via Noreuil Parade and the walk bridge west of the playground.)
