The Heritage Village has been designed to collect preserve, restore, interpret and exhibit artefacts that relates to the history, heritage and culture of the area.
The Quirindi Rural Heritage Village is set on 18 acres, just 3 km from Quirindi on the Gunnedah road, in the heart of the Liverpool Plains a rich farming area in NSW.
Originally the site was an old gravel quarry, the area has been given a new lease of life. The Heritage Village has been designed to collect preserve, restore, interpret and exhibit artefacts that relates to the history, heritage and culture of the regional area.
Some of these displays consist of by-gone era ways of life from horse drawn carts, farming implements, tractors, shop displays, a blacksmith shop and model train displays with many more displays to see.
The Heritage Village also has a coffee shop, a men's shed and a miniature railway.The men shed operate Tuesday's and Thursdays.
