Overview of this event
Lake Macquarie City Council is proud to announce the successful commissioning of four artists for the 2025 Summer Commission at the Multi-Arts Pavilion, MAP mima.
The Summer Commission presents an immersive program of works by Megan Farquhar, Jem Gillard, Louis Thorn, and Lilah Benetti, showcasing diverse approaches to sound, image, and personal experience within the 360-degree projection Cube.
Together, these works transform the Cube into a multi-sensory landscape of memory, spirit, and imagination, inviting audiences to experience immersive storytelling, visual experimentation, and profound personal and cultural resonance.
