Overview of this event
The Bathurst Gold Crown Carnival is a feature of the harness racing calendar, held annually in late March.
It features five race meetings and many social events such as Ladies Night Marquee, Calcutta, Ambrose Golf Day & Honouree Dinner. The three year old finals have a prize money worth AUD100,000 and the two year old finals on the last Saturday night of March each offer AUD150,000 in prize-money.
