Overview of this event
The Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup Carnival is now clearly established as one of the premier country racing carnivals in Australia. Winner of the prestigious Racing NSW award for the 'Most Popular Country Feature Race meeting' in 2009, 2008, 2006, 2004 and 2003.
The Albury Gold Cup is recognised as an iconic event for the fast-developing city of Albury. With over AUD860,000 in prize money, trophies and bonuses on offer over two days, with the feature race – AUD200,000 Listed Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup (2000 metres).
