Head to Deepwater for an afternoon of art and words, including the opening of a new art exhibition by Peter Champion, and ABC New England's Kristy Reading launching a new book 'Diving Into Deep Water' written by the High Country Writers Group and published by a new local imprint, High Country Books.
Come for a free drink and a nibble, with 10% of all sales donated to Westpac Helicopter Rescue.
Situated on the New England Highway at Deepwater, The Makers Shed is a showcase of the region's finest artisanal creations, including handmade jewellery by Richard Moon Wearable Silver & Silverware and the books of author Michael Burge.
With a range of new fiction, non-fiction and kids' books; ceramics, glassware and textiles; condiments, body products and MORE, this is Deepwater's destination for gifts, special reads, homewares and something unique that has been made locally.
