Ash Morse - Piano Stories

An intimate evening of original music sung and performed by Ash Morse live on Avoca Beach Theatre's grand piano, accompanied by live studio recordings featuring his signature multi-layered vocal harmonies, strings, brass and percussion. Ash Morse's music ranges from delicate and intricate piano vocal to grand and orchestral. Each song tells stories of his life and internal world through sweeping melodies and poetic lyrics. The performance will include selection from Ash Morse's most recent albums: Cinematic/orchestral "To Go Home", nostalgic, heartfelt piano/vocal "Family Ties" and more joyful EP "Sunny Haven Avenue". Ash will also perform his unique composition "Dream Machine", which was partly released as a radio edit in 2023 (now available only on YouTube), reached the top 40 in the prestigious Vanda and Young international competition, and claimed the grand prize for the IYMC International Composer's competition.
