Overview of this event
Seniors, join us for free art workshops with a difference, held during the NSW Seniors Festival.
Be inspired by the fascinating lives of people from our local history shared through photographs, objects and unique stories.
Artist Vivianne Hazenveld will then help you transform traditional photo portraits into contemporary collage art.
Absolutely no art experience necessary! There will be plenty of gentle guidance, templates to get you started and a range of mixed media to choose from. Just bring a willingness to explore and wear clothes you can paint in.
Works will be shown in an exhibition and celebration at the museum on Saturday 14 March from 2 pm for all to enjoy.
Join a single session or attend multiple workshops to experiment with different portraits or styles.
Free! Bookings essential. Carers welcome, please book an extra spot.
Light refreshments provided.
Supported by a 2026 NSW Seniors Festival Grant from the NSW Government.
