Overview of this event
Take a guided walk through the picturesque village of Binalong, a place with a colourful past brimming with tantalising tales.
Picture a town once with five lively pubs serving just 369 locals, while the police and courthouse dealt with larceny, abduction and the lurking threat of bushrangers. On this tour, you'll wander Binalong's heritage precinct and uncover the characters and dramatic episodes that shaped the town, including the infamous Binalong Filth Case.
This experience includes rare access to the c.1883 Courthouse and finishes with an exclusive outdoor afternoon tea at Café on Queen, set beside the tranquil Balgalal Creek.
