Overview of this event
Morpeth Museum has opened its latest exhibition Born Again Bradmill, which displays items from the Burlington, Bradford, Bradmill and National Textiles eras at Rutherford between 1945 and 2000.
Bradmill was the largest textile manufacturing company in Australia. From a simple weaving shed at Newtown, Sydney in 1927, until the closure at Rutherford in 2000, it has a long history of 73 years with over 50 of those being at Rutherford. A video slideshow is also running alongside "NTL - An Industrial Heritage".
The exhibition is fitting as the 25th anniversary of the National Textiles Limited closure approaches and the complete timeline of Bradmill is available at the exhibition.
