Brass and The City features the Melbourne-based collective Lyrebird Brass.
Faculty of the Melbourne University and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Lyrebird Brass will perform a fascinating program from Baroque to modern day.
Commencing with flemish composer Leonora Duarte and her Sinfonia No. 2 (arranged by Abby Black), Victor Ewald’s Quintet No. 1, living British composer Grace Evangeline Mason and Australians Catherine Likhuta and Alice Humphries. The program finishes with Michael Tilson Thomas' Street Song.
