Overview of this event
This exhibition charts the history and spirit of the community through objects and photographs from the Albury City Museum & Social History permanent collection.
From the Wiradjuri, who lived on and cared for this land for tens of thousands of years, to colonial settlers, to the more recent arrivals from many backgrounds who now call Albury home, we are a place of many peoples and many experiences.
Discover stories of geography and place, agriculture and manufacturing, migration and homecoming – stories of a vibrant community whose achievements have made contributions on local, national and international stages.
This exhibition was curated by Kat Kitch (Wiradjuri) and Kate Eastick.
