Opening at Woollahra's Art2Muse Gallery, Wild card captures the duality that defines Watts' career - disciplined craftsmanship underpinned by creative risk. Known for his striking pop-art aesthetic and vibrant, high-impact portraits, Watts channels the energy of contemporary music culture into canvas, producing works that are as confident and bold as they are emotionally charged. Watts' artistic language is inseparable from his musical journey. A multi-instrumentalist and modern, dark-pop artist inspired by the likes of The Weeknd, Post Malone and 5 Seconds of Summer, Watts has built a career that moves seamlessly between stage and studio. In 2015, after releasing just one single, he was selected for MTV's 'Brand New' platform, joining alumni such as Sam Smith, Conrad Sewell and Charli XCX. He followed with 'Wrong or Right', featuring Amy Sheppard of ARIA Award-winning band Sheppard, and soon found himself opening for Elton John and supporting Robbie Williams at A Day on the Green. His visual art mirrors this trajectory - ambitious, expressive and unafraid of scale.
