Overview of this event
Retford Park presents a curated and captivating selection of 'alternative' landscape works from the Salon des Refusés Wynne Prize.
The Salon des Refusés, established by the S.H. Ervin Gallery in 1992, is an annual showcase of standout works not selected for the Archibald and Wynne Prizes. These 'alternative' selections have become a must-see highlight of Sydney's art calendar, offering fresh perspectives on portraiture and landscape.
Coming to Retford Park in Bowral, Contemporary Australian Landscape Paintings brings together esteemed works by these 'alternative' Wynne Prize landscape artists.
Coinciding with Contemporary Australian Landscape Paintings, the official Wynne Prize, an Art Gallery of New South Wales touring exhibition, will be on display at Ngununggula, located nearby in the grounds of Retford Park. Please visit the website for more information.
