Overview of this event
The Dungog Garden Ramble is a biennial event raising money for local charitable and community causes. There will be eight gardens open. Six of the gardens are in town; two of them are out of town but only ten minutes and well worth the drive.
Here is the list of gardens and the addresses for 2023:
134 Fosterton Road - Country cottage and edible
58 Fosterton Road - old world charm and historic interest
103 Salisbury Road - innovative edible
126 Salisbury Road - modern gardening and entertaining
43 Dowling Street - cottage charm
31 Dowling Street - artistic, quirky and sustainable
33 Windeyer Street - life on the river
9 Carlton Avenue - bird-friendly indigenous cottage
All the gardens will be open on Saturday.
Entry is AUD5. Please bring cash as we don't have access to Eftpos.
Refreshments will be available at Garden 5 at a cost of AUD5. They're keeping it simple: old-fashioned slice (gluten-free options will be available) with a pot of proper tea - with tea cosy - or pod coffee, served on nice china)
Please Note:
On Sunday the gardens at 134 Fosterton Road - Country Cottage and Edible, 58 Fosterton Road - old world charm and historic interest available are the only gardens open.
