Overview of this event
Take a step back in time as the Grenfell Museum presents A Walk Down Main Street – a nostalgic journey through the heart of Grenfell's history.
This exhibition traces the evolution of Main Street, from its earliest days, when it was Main Street in name only, to its role as the centre of local business and community life.
Featuring a curated selection of historical photographs, rarely seen objects, aerial images, maps, and key architectural highlights, the exhibit brings to life over 150 years of change.
Many of the images on display have never been exhibited before and are sure to spark memories, stories, and a few surprises.
Whether you're a longtime resident or a curious visitor, this exhibition offers a unique glimpse into the town's past and how it has adapted through the decades.
