Overview of this event
Join artist Corinne Loxton for the opening of Falling Upwards, a new landscape painting exhibition at Stella Downer Fine Art in Waterloo.
The opening will feature drinks at the gallery, conversation with the artist, and the first public viewing of this new body of work. The exhibition brings together a series of contemporary landscape paintings whose technique and subject matter evoke disorienting yet beautiful moments. Through layered paint, gestural mark-making, and shifts in scale, the works invite viewers to step into complex terrains of light, texture, and form.
Guests are warmly invited to share the afternoon with the artist, her family, and the gallery community in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
