Overview of this event
Growing organic vegetables is a great step towards self reliance and self sufficiency! Anyone with a back yard, a balcony or a few acres can do it. All you need is a little bit of know how and a good serving of enthusiasm. They will supply the knowledge, and in their lovely cool climate of the Southern Highlands, you can make growing food your passion and produce delicious, nutrient packed vegetable as you need them right out of your own garden.
Bronwyn Richards and Helen Lynch are former commercial small organic vegetable growers now living a sustainable life in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Both take every opportunity to share their joy and a deep sense of satisfaction from food production with like-minded people who are looking for meaning and value in their lives.
