This immersive experience will not only introduce you to a variety of native plants but also provide insights into their rich cultural significance and traditional uses for food and medicine.
Engage in activities that will deepen your connection to the land, such as gathering and preparing traditional foods or crafting medicinal remedies. Through these experiences, you will gain a profound appreciation for the ingenuity and resourcefulness of Indigenous cultures, as well as a renewed respect for the natural world.
During this one-hour Aboriginal bush tucker / medicine walk, participants will have the opportunity to learn about traditional healing practices, and gain a deeper appreciation for the rich heritage and wisdom of Aboriginal culture.
Suitable for all ages. Please note, Killalea Regional Park is accessible for those with wheelchairs, mobility scooters and prams, however areas are grassy/gravel and uneven.
