With a career that includes performances on the world's leading stages, Juan Diego Flórez has established himself as one of opera's greatest talents. Adored by fans and critics worldwide, Flórez's stunningly expressive and agile voice has garnered international acclaim—most notably for his performances of the bel canto style and French Romantic repertoire.
As an international recording artist, Flórez has released numerous solo albums and operas securing his place among the greatest performers of all time. Hailing from Lima, Peru, Flórez's generosity, charisma and passion inspire his many philanthropic endeavours, including Sinfonía por el Perú—a social project that uses the power of music to help vulnerable children and adolescents. His numerous accolades include Peru's highest distinction, the Gran Cruz de la Orden El Sol, and being recognised as a Kammersänger by the Austrian government in 2012.
