Let's Talk North-West - Brewarrina

An exciting outreach initiative is coming to Western NSW and we’re inviting everyone to join in!  

NSW Fair Trading and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) are collaborating to support Aboriginal communities by promoting consumer education.   

The project focuses on addressing issues that affect vulnerable and disadvantaged consumers, with a strong emphasis on empowering First Nations Australians. By offering tailored, culturally appropriate education, we aim to create safer, more informed communities.  

These events are an opportunity to learn about vital consumer rights, recognise scams and protect yourself and your loved ones from unfair practices. Events and activities are designed to be interactive, engaging, and relevant to everyday challenges. Whether it’s buying a used car, understanding tenancy laws, or shopping rights, our sessions are here to help you feel confident and informed.
