Overview of this event
This concert by Symphony Central Coast features music from Hollywood blockbusters - Lawrence of Arabia, Up, Spirited Away, The Last of the Mohicans and Star Trek. Plus works by composers from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and Central Coast Composer Collective, many works played live to screen. There will also be a world premiere of Steven Stanke’s new score to Charles Klein’s 1928 gothic horror The Tell Tale Heart, based on the short story by Edgar Allen Poe.
