Overview of this event
Reuse Tetra Pak juice and milk cartons to create your own prints! It's a clever way to reuse this readily available material in the home. A fun, simple method to make printing plates and produce amazing artwork.
In this 3-hour workshop, you'll design and create a plate by scratching, drawing, and cutting into the shiny surface of the carton. You'll then be guided through applying non-toxic inks and printing using an etching press. Participants will take home a number of prints on quality printmaking paper.
What to bring:
A cleaned, cut-open Tetra Pak carton with a silver lining, inspiration images (keep simple), an apron or paint shirt, and closed-in shoes. Maximum image size is 15x20cm. All materials and equipment are provided. No prior experience required.
This class is for people over the age of 18.
