Lismore has scored a major win, confirmed as a host for the NSW Open Golf Regional Qualifying Series in both 2025 and 2026 — cementing its place on the map for major regional sporting events. The 36-hole tournament, includes an 18-hole pro-am and two days of competitive play. It forms part of a six-event series across NSW feeding into the 2025 FORD NSW Open Championship. Each qualifier offers a AUD50,000 purse for professionals, with the top three finishers — professional or amateur — earning a spot in the NSW Open this November.
