Overview of this event
Step back in time at the Campbelltown Steam and Machinery Museum's Oil, Steam and Kerosene Family Fun Day, where history comes to life through the sights, sounds and movement of working machinery. This much-loved event offers visitors the chance to experience traditional engines and equipment operating just as they once did, creating an immersive and engaging day out.
Families can enjoy watching machinery in action as it saws wood, ploughs fields, hauls heavy loads, pumps water and generates electricity, alongside displays of vintage vehicles and military machinery. Younger visitors will love rides on the museum's narrow-gauge steam locomotive, while adults can take their time exploring the collection and soaking up the nostalgic atmosphere. With plenty to see and do, it's a memorable experience for families, history lovers and visitors of all ages.
