Overview of this event
Create something extraordinary from simple and accessible materials using papier-mâché and paint.
In this workshop spread across two half-days, artist Kim Barter will share her step-by-step process for creating an Australian native bird sculpture. Day 1: Build your bird’s form and express its character with wire and papier-mâché. Day 2: Paint your bird, discovering its unique personality along the way.
This workshop is ideal for people aged 16 plus years. No experience is necessary. All materials and tools will be provided.
