Overview of this event
Join the Yass History Centre for the Yass Historic Pub Experience — a guided walking journey into the spirited past of one of regional New South Wales' most intriguing towns.
Step inside two historic hotels still pouring drinks today, where a curated selection of house-made bites and beverages are included as part of your ticket.
Along the way, you'll also gain access to a historic pub building no longer open to the public — a rare opportunity to go beyond closed doors and glimpse a chapter of Yass history few get to see.
With the venues just a few easy steps apart, we'll wander between them as the stories unfold — celebrations, courtroom dramas, tragedy, a royal visit and much more.
This is more than a pub crawl. It's Yass social history told where it actually happened, and we've got some extraordinary stories to share.
Suitable for 18 years and over.
Assistance dogs are warmly welcomed. Unfortunately, they are unable to accommodate other pets at this event.
A Canberra & Region Heritage Festival and Australian Heritage Festival event.
