Overview of this event
Songwriting Workshop
Got a song idea that's almost there, but needs that extra spark? Want to write with other like-minded young musicians?
Join the Songwriting Session where you'll collaborate, create, and develop original music — for both your own project and the Plug + Play Band. You'll focus on keeping songwriting simple, creative, and fun… and who knows? There may even be a chance to record your work down the track.
Demo Days - Recording 101
Ever wondered what happens before you step into the studio?
Recording 101 is your chance to get hands-on and create a demo of your original song, setting you up for a smooth studio session next month. Learn what to expect, how to prepare, and how to get the most out of the recording process — all in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Performance Workshop- Mock Gig
Step on stage. Plug in. Play with purpose.
Mock Gig is a live, hands-on session where you'll jam with other like-minded youth performers, treating it like the real deal. Learn how to command the room, move with confidence, and manage your set time — from smooth transitions to knowing when to wrap it up. It's all about building strong stage presence, tightening your performance, and feeling ready for future gigs in a fun, supportive environment.
