Overview of this event
Step aboard the Rainforest Rattler heritage rail motor and experience the Coffs Coast from a truly unique perspective.
These scenic return trips travel north and south through coastal landscapes, lush hinterland and historic rail precincts. Enjoy views of Coffs Creek, banana plantations, coastal heathlands and waterways, pass through the famous Red Hill tunnels, and stop at charming heritage stations including Coramba, Nana Glen, Glenreagh, Bonville, Urunga and Eungai. Longer journeys venture deeper into the Orara Valley and hinterland, making them perfect for a relaxed day out. You're welcome to bring a picnic hamper for extended trips, with drinks, snacks and souvenirs also available on board (licensed service – no BYO alcohol).
