Overview of this event
Bring an idea, a design and/or a precious stone and make your unique piece of sterling-silver jewellery under skilled supervision in Deepwater. Richard Moon (resident silverworker at The Makers Shed) offers studio-workshop options for a strict maximum of six people, where you get to decide what you'll create!
Get across the entire silver-working process with Richard as your guide, from cutting, soldering, heating, cold-connecting, fold-forming, bezel-setting and polishing. The cost includes enough sterling silver for one ring, pendant, brooch or pair of earrings; and a limited selection of raw materials and stones: vintage linoleum, copper, leather, moonstones, freshwater pearls, etc. Design and make something special!
