Overview of this event
In this exhibition, Robert Moore's paintings on paper– characterised by large gestures, abstract marks, and landscapes – are transformed by Sue Hall who sews the paintings on paper into wearable forms such as shirts, bags, and hats. The result is an installation where abstraction and functionality collide.
Selvedge continues Robert Moore and Sue Hall's collaboration that began in 2021, when Hall responded to Moore's extensive collection of hand-printed fabrics from his work with Australian fashion lifestyle brands Mambo and Deus Ex Machina.
This exhibition is a Grafton Regional Gallery project.
Grafton Regional Gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Monday's. Public Holidays may differ.
