Shakespeare by the Lake - Season VII - The Taming of the Shrew

Shakespeare by the Lakes VII is a festival with many events - Free outdoor park performances as well as indoor boutique events with a cover charge - for those who like an indoor seat and a glass of wine in hand. This year, Shakespeare's infamous battle of the sexes gets turned on its head in this bold and energetic version of The Taming of the Shrew. All the shows are deeply immersive and fun. Forget boring high school Shakespeare! While being true to the original, their shows are lively and fun and have loads of local references. People of all ages understand and enjoy our shows! Their park shows have food vendors and are a festive, picnic atmosphere. You can bring a blanket and enjoy and afternoon/evening with friends while taking in the performance. Their boutique shows have capped audience numbers so you are guaranteed to be close to the action in a way that you may never have been before.
