Overview of this event
Slip & Stillness is the second workshop in the Grounded in Clay series, inviting you to slow down and create three hand-built bowls with intention and care. Guided step-by-step, you'll form soft, rounded shapes, then explore flowing slip and beautiful wooden stamps to add gentle texture and pattern.
This workshop focuses on quiet making` - hands in clay, attention in the moment - as you refine each bowl and allow subtle details to emerge. No experience is needed; all tools and materials are provided, and beginners are warmly welcomed.
Your pieces will be dried, bisque fired, glazed, and fired again, ready for use at home. Whether you're new to pottery or returning to the wheel of making, this is a grounding, creative session designed to restore calm and spark joy through clay.
Workshops are for aged 16 years and older.
