Overview of this event
For millennia, sticks, stones, earth, and bones have been the foundation materials of creative expression.
Ken Unsworth, one of Australia’s most respected artists, is well known for incorporating these materials in his sculptural installations, including his kinetic work Zone of Wistful Thoughts, which he donated to MRAG in 2023.
They will showcase this iconic installation alongside works from their collection and a selection of stunning loaned pieces inspired by these earthy materials.
