Tag20 ANZAC Cup

The Tag20 Anzac Cup is inspired by the camaraderie of the Anzac Heroes who fought for their countries, Australia and New Zealand. It is a friendly, competitive sport between two spirited nations. Players from all over Australia and New Zealand, including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Canberra, Western Australia and of course New Zealand, will compete in the Anzac Cup. Over the weekend, 18 teams consisting of more than 250 players and 54 officials, ranging from Juniors (under 9 years) to Masters (40 years and above), will compete in a best-of-five-test series between Australia and New Zealand. Tag20 is an innovative sport made for social collaboration, health, well-being, fitness and enjoyable competition. The skills performed in the game of Tag20 are similar to those from codes including Touch Football, Rugby League and Rugby Union. The major difference is that the tag replaces the impact of a tackle.
