Overview of this event
The third annual WildAid benefit concert is set to bring a powerful mix of music and purpose to Byron Bay, with iconic Australian rock band Hoodoo Gurus headlining the event. Held at the Green Room on the Bluesfest site, the concert will unite a standout lineup of artists in support of Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital.
Joining the Hoodoo Gurus are acclaimed performers Toni Childs, King Stingray and The Honey Sliders. Each artist brings a unique sound and energy to the stage, creating a dynamic atmosphere for a meaningful cause. The event aims to raise vital funds for the hospital, which delivers lifesaving veterinary care to sick, injured and orphaned native animals, including threatened species.
Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital Founder and CEO Dr Stephen Van Mil expressed deep gratitude to the artists for donating their time and talent. Their involvement highlights the growing urgency of supporting native wildlife facing increasing threats from habitat loss, road trauma, and environmental pressures.
Hoodoo Gurus front man, Dave Faulkner shared the band's pride in supporting the event, noting the importance of giving back to a region they have long held close. WildAid promises a memorable night of live music and community spirit, while raising awareness and support for wildlife conservation in one of Australia's most ecologically significant regions.
