Overview of this event
The Yongle Palace murals are a treasured part of Chinese cultural heritage.
At the Yongle Palace Murals Art Exhibition & Cultural and Tourism Promotion Event of Yuncheng, Shanxi, visitors can admire the vibrant brushwork of Longhu and Sanqing Halls, discover the legendary stories of Lv Dongbin and Wang Chongyang in Chunyang and Chongyang Halls, and experience the Chaoyuan Tu, a grand masterpiece of Chinese painting.
The exhibition is organised into seven zones—mural art, costume restoration, headwear and accessories, AI-powered digital restoration, mineral pigments, cultural and creative products, and Yuncheng intangible heritage. These zones offer an immersive experience of Yuan dynasty murals and the unique cultural richness of Yuncheng.
