Taleen Shamlian
Taleen Shamlian is an economist, public policy and stakeholder relations expert and has deep experience in the government, corporate, not-for-profit and academic sectors.

Taleen is currently Managing Director of Advisory Street Pty Ltd, where she advises Boards and C-suite executives.
She currently lectures to the APS and State Public Service Commissions on public sector management (through QUT Business School).
Taleen is a member of the NSW Council for Women's Economic Opportunity.
Taleen is an Ambassador for the NSW Government's 'Women's Financial Toolkit - It's Your Future' speaking to various women’s groups about the importance of financial literacy. She brings her specialist expertise to the NSW Government on strategies aimed at supporting women with economic opportunities.
Taleen has a depth of financial services experience having been the Head of Government Affairs for Visa and the Commonwealth Bank for over a decade.
Taleen began her career as an economist at Commonwealth Treasury advising on tax, superannuation, budget strategy and macroeconomic policies. She has published extensively on superannuation, banking, financial services and digital economy issues.
She has provided strategic public policy advice to Commonwealth and State Governments on a range of policies while a Senior Manager at ACIL Allen Consulting, including on health, social, in-home and aged care, environmental and various other issues.
She is a Board member of the NSW Government’s Radiation Advisory Council (RAC), and former Board member of Women in Economics (WEN) and the Armenian National Committee, and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Taleen has a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) and a Master of Public Policy (Merit Distinction) from the University of Sydney.
