The Department is collecting this information from you to assess your nomination of the nominee for potential inclusion on the honour role. The information may also be used for evaluation and reporting purposes. If the nomination is successful, the nominee’s name and town of residence will be published and made publicly available through inclusion on the honour roll.
As necessary, we may also provide this information to the nominee, the Office of the Minister for Women, the Electoral Commission and the organisation(s) with whom the nominated person has volunteered as disclosed in the nomination form.
The Department will not disclose the personal information to anyone else unless we are required to do so by law – for example, if the information is needed in an emergency or for a law enforcement purpose.
Providing us with the requested information is not required by law.
