Overview of this event
Uralla Shire Council is providing an opportunity for our young people better understand this State significant REZ work which is happening in our own backyard.
As part of our ‘Youth Week’ program, Uralla Shire Council has brought together several notable speakers to speak with our young people specifically regarding:
- What is the REZ and what area does it cover?
- Why Uralla is an important piece of the puzzle?
- Who are the major players in our area?
- How the local Government is working with these developers; and
- What the timeline is for these projects.
Speakers will also address what are the expected opportunities and impacts from these developments and potential employment and skills training opportunities for local communities.
