About the program
Momentum is a three-step holistic program to employment, including birth registration/ certification, a driver’s licence as well as training and job placement services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 16 to 55 years in North-Eastern New South Wales.
The Momentum Consortium links these three services into one cohesive program, addressing key barriers for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in this region to sustain employment and advance their wellbeing.
Momentum is a consortium of partner organisations:
- Real Futures - a Supply Nation certified, Aboriginal-owned business.
- Pathfinders - includes Aboriginal leadership within the wider organisation, with Aboriginal board membership and senior Aboriginal staff.
- ACE Community Colleges - has an Aboriginal Advisory Board comprised of members of the NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group and Aboriginal people from the local communities.
