What’s this about?

The purpose of the Digital Records Preservation Policy is to establish a set of principles supporting the NSW Government's approach to the preservation of digital records.

Following initial consultation with Museums of History NSW and members of the Public Sector Advisory Committee, there are plans to expand the policy. The new version will focus more on meeting the requirements of section 14 of the State Records Act 1998.

This updated policy will replace the current one and will be called the Accessibility of State Records Over Time Policy.
