What’s this about?

The Water Sharing Plan for the Greater Metropolitan Region Unregulated River Water Sources and the Water Sharing Plan for the Greater Metropolitan Region Groundwater Sources are nearing expiry and two draft replacement plans have been prepared.

These water sharing plans establish rules for water management including the limit of the total water volume that can be extracted from the groundwater and unregulated river water sources in the Greater Metropolitan region.
