We have now delivered 350 new and enhanced radio communications sites across the state to expands the Public Safety Network (PSN).
This expansion includes new radio communications sites to cover vast areas of the state including Greater Sydney, South Coast, Central West and the Northern Tablelands.
The PSN allows Emergency Services Organisations (ESOs) to communicate and coordinate responses to critical incidents and disasters on a single, shared radio network.
By expanding the footprint of this critical infrastructure, we are ensuring frontline responders have a more reliable network to help keep people and places connected and safe.
Next to Australia’s triple zero emergency hotline, the PSN is the most critical communications network in NSW, fielding an average of around 1.7 million radio communications calls per month.
