To be eligible for some special assistance measures, businesses must be in a Local Government Area (LGA) that is covered by a natural disaster declaration.

Grants and payments to aid recovery after a natural disaster

Natural Disaster Relief Loans

Small business operators and primary producers affected by a declared natural disaster may be eligible for a low-interest loan of up to $130,000.

$1000 SafeWork small business rebate

Eligible small business owners can receive a $1000 rebate for the purchase of items to improve work health and safety.

Natural Disaster Donated Fodder Transport Subsidy

Eligible organisations that donate and transport donated fodder to benefit 3 or more primary producers can apply for this subsidy.

Natural Disaster Transport Subsidy

Eligible farmers can apply for up to $15,000 to cover costs associated with transporting stock, fodder and water.

Farm Household Allowance

A package of assistance is available to eligible farming families in financial difficulty, including after natural disasters.
