Smart Central River City
The Smart Central River City Blueprint shows how smart technologies can help the region transform into a thriving, economic powerhouse.
The Central River City spans 6 local government areas:
- Canterbury-Bankstown
- Cumberland
- Parramatta
- Georges River
- The Hills
- Blacktown.
The Central River City is changing fast. In coming years, the region will support more houses, jobs and business opportunities than ever before. It plays a strategically important role at the centre of Greater Sydney.
In the Central River City smart technologies are being used to:
- support collaboration between governments and industry
- create places with great amenity for people to visit, live, work and play
- attract and retain skilled workers and investment in knowledge-intensive industries
- support the resilience of communities and infrastructure.
The Smart Central River City Blueprint supports a coordinated approach to strategic planning and investment in smart solutions across the region.
