Minister for Regional Transport and Roads

The NSW Government is investing in transport and road related projects across the state.

Transport for NSW's website has lots of project and program information that may help with your enquiry.

The NSW Government is responsible for building and maintaining state roads, and provides local councils with grants and a funding program to help repair local and regional roads. Councils are responsible for prioritising and actioning their repair.  

State Roads in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong, including tolling and toll roads, are the responsibility of the Minister for Roads.

Public Transport in Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong, freight across NSW, and maritime and boating issues, are the responsibility of the Minister for Transport.
